Controller Examination
The Examination Office of UST plays a pivotal role in the academic framework of the university, serving as the central authority for all examination and assessment-related functions. It is responsible for organizing, administering, and supervising examinations at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, ensuring that all assessment processes are conducted with integrity, fairness, and transparency.
The office manages the complete cycle of examinations, including the preparation of exam schedules, issuance of admit cards, allocation of examination halls, appointment of invigilators, and coordination of on-campus and off-campus examination activities. It also oversees the secure printing, handling, and distribution of question papers, along with the collection, recording, and safeguarding of answer scripts.
In addition, the Examination Office maintains comprehensive examination records, processes student results, prepares grade reports, manages result notifications, and ensures timely issuance of transcripts and degrees. It also facilitates rechecking, reevaluation, make-up examinations, and handles all examination-related grievances according to university policies.
The office works closely with departments, faculty, and statutory bodies to implement examination regulations, uphold academic standards, and ensure compliance with the University Charter.
